Hello! I'm Lwandle Chauke, a Computer and Information Sciences graduate with a passion for software engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data engineering.
I enjoy building software that solves real-world problems while continuously challenging myself to learn new technologies and improve my technical skills. What excites me most about technology is the opportunity to solve complex problems, whether that's designing secure applications, analysing data or exploring how AI can be used to create smarter solutions.
Throughout my studies, I developed full-stack web applications, Android applications and database-driven systems that strengthened my problem-solving, analytical thinking and software engineering skills. These experiences taught me the importance of building software that is secure, scalable and maintainable.
My interests have continued to evolve throughout my academic journey. Exposure to information security and data-focused modules sparked a strong interest in cybersecurity and data engineering, while my studies at the University of Pretoria further expanded my knowledge of artificial intelligence, computer networks and advanced programming concepts.
My immediate goal is to begin my career in software engineering or data engineering, where I can continue developing strong technical foundations while working with modern technologies. In the long term, I aspire to specialise in cybersecurity, particularly in areas such as DevSecOps, cloud security and ethical hacking, combining secure software development with infrastructure and data-driven technologies.
I believe that continuous learning is essential in technology. Alongside building practical projects, I'm actively pursuing industry-recognised certifications to strengthen my knowledge and stay current with emerging technologies.
I'm currently seeking graduate opportunities where I can contribute to meaningful projects, learn from experienced professionals and continue growing into a versatile engineer.
View My ProjectsI enjoy solving challenging problems through software and believe the best developers never stop learning. Whether I'm exploring cybersecurity concepts, experimenting with AI or developing full-stack applications, I approach every project as an opportunity to improve both my technical skills and my understanding of how technology can make a real impact.
